   1. Omnidirectional caliper

   3. Large diameter caliper
   Large diameter diameter gauge is applied to the outer diameter measurement of large-scale rolling steel. A set of photoelectric double measuring heads is built in it. During the measurement, the outer diameter of two edges of rolling equipment is measured, and the fixed size in the middle is added to get the outer diameter value of large-diameter rolling steel.
   The large diameter caliper is especially suitable for the on-line measurement of seamless pipe and spiral welded pipe rolled by the pilger mill. The maximum diameter, the minimum diameter, the average diameter and the ovality of the pipe section can be measured by the rotation period setting.
   4. Large diameter caliper with adjustable spacing
   The diameter gauge with adjustable spacing and large diameter is measured by a double cylinder probe. Double barrel probe refers to the photoelectric measurement system composed of two sets of transmitting lens and two sets of receiving lens. One transmitting lens and its opposite receiving lens form a group of single probe, and each probe measures one edge size of the object to be measured when measuring with double barrel probe.
   Through the lens in the receiving lens, the parallel beam is imaged on the photoelectric conversion element. When two beams of parallel light are put into the object to be measured, virtual shadow will appear on the image of photoelectric conversion element, and its width is set as L1 and L2 respectively. After processing and calculating the electrical signal sent by the photoelectric conversion element, the corresponding dimensions A1 and A2 of L1 and L2 can be obtained. The dimension D of the measured object can be obtained by adding A1 and A2 plus the net distance b between the two lenses.
   The distance between two groups of single measuring heads of the double lens cylinder measuring head of the diameter measuring instrument with adjustable distance can be adjusted automatically. The adjustment device is mainly composed of the mirror barrel supporting plate, linear guide rail, precision ball screw and stepping motor (the basic structure of the adjustment device is shown in the figure below). When it is necessary to adjust the spacing of the lens barrel, the precise position can be adjusted by driving the step motor to drive the ball screw through the input command of the control system.
